Wing Fatique Life

• Measurements of wing bending moments at the wing root and wing fold are considered desirable.
• Measurements will not increase fatigue life.
• Use the tunnel to modify the span loading to reduce bending moments.
•
Previous programs have demonstrated noticeable (Approximately 5%) reductions in root bending moment by adjusting span loading.
